I turn complex problems into useful systems.

I’m Pasindu Perera. I trace how money, data and decisions move through a system, find where things break down, and build practical fixes across markets, software and business operations.

Selected work / 01

Work that connects the dots.

Different domains, one approach: turn messy information and real user needs into clear decisions and practical tools.

01 / FEATURED PROJECT

ForexCompass

I started ForexCompass around the questions I face as a retail macro trader: What changed? Why does it matter? Which currencies and pairs are exposed? The research terminal connects economic releases, central-bank policy, news and pair analysis in one workflow. As co-founder, I own its architecture, domain modelling and quantitative logic.

New dashboard design

Built for the decisions behind the trade.

Each screen addresses a step in the retail-trading workflow: get oriented to the macro picture, compare pairs, follow policy, interpret releases and track market-moving news. The goal is to make those signals easier to connect and act on. These design previews use illustrative data.

From clinic workflows to a working interface.

An operational overview, financial reporting, practice KPIs and clinical workflows. Names and patient details in the clinical views have been anonymized.

How I work / 02

Versatile by design.
Focused in execution.

I bring technical depth and business context together, then stay close to the details needed to make an idea work in practice.

Portrait of Pasindu Perera
Pasindu Perera · Bremen, Germany

I’m a practical, self-reliant builder. I look at how money, data and decisions move through a system, find the bottleneck, and build something that fixes it. I make decisions with the numbers in front of me and walk away from what isn’t working.

That approach comes from helping run a business, trading live markets for more than five years, and building my own software. It has taught me to test ideas against real costs, margins and workflows.

I’m at my best where finance, data and operations meet: making sense of macro events, turning messy processes into working digital systems, and replacing manual work with dashboards, models and automations.

Beyond the work

Discipline, curiosity and a life outside the screen.

CFA Program

Level I candidate, registered for the February 2027 examination.

Sport

Karate black belt and University Hockey Colours holder. I also play volleyball and swim, and I’m a certified lifeguard.

On my reading list

Books on financial markets and quantitative trading—especially ideas that sharpen how I think about risk and decision-making.
